STANDARD (OSLO) is proud to present a solo exhibition of new works by Carl Mannov.

 

Bags pose hazards to the collection; large bags are not permitted inside the spaces.

 

Food and beverages are not permitted.

 

No photography in any one space for more than 5 minutes.

 

Cellular phones and other electronic devices must be turned to silent.

 

Guided visits include walking outdoors. Sensible footwear is recommended. Deer ticks are common in the area of the Art Centre and throughout the region. There is a handout on Lyme disease available in the Visitor Centre. There is also bug spray available for purchase.

 

Jogging is not allowed.

 

Visitors may rent adult bicycles on a first-come, first-served basis. Bicycle rentals come with a bicycle map showing permitted routes and locations of bicycle racks. Helmets are included with rentals and their use is mandatory. At present, child seats and children's bikes are not available.

 

Do not move, climb on, or damage furniture.

 

Visitors must be at least 12 years of age.

 

Pets are not permitted but documented service animals are welcome.

 

Admission is not required for entry to the bookshop and café.

 

Sketching, in pencil only, is permitted in all the permanent collection galleries. Sketching is also permitted in most special exhibitions; please inquire at the Information Desk about current exhibitions and guidelines. The use of ballpoint pens, ink, markers, fountain pens, or watercolours is not permitted at any time. Crayon, pastel, and charcoal are permitted only on supervised tours that specifically authorize their use. While sketching, please do not hinder visitor traffic flow in the galleries.

 

The following areas are fitted with a hearing loop:

• Hearing loops are also available on most gallery tours

 

We can now offer bespoke touch tours to deafblind visitors.

 

Visitors are not permitted to use drones or any aerial vehicles at the Art Centre's air space.

Carl Mannov (born 1990, Copenhagen) lives and works in Oslo where he graduated from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts in 2016. Recent exhibitions include "DESK CHOP SHA CHI" at Christian Andersen, Copenhagen; "Pro- pods and bullpens" at One Night Only at Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo; "Plant B" (curated by Komplot and Toke Lykkeberg) at Parc de la Fonderie, Brussels; "A Painter's Doubt: Painting & Phenomenology" at Salzburger Kunstverein, Salzburg; "Chanting, all clamoring, chirping (Chiroptera), blaring elevator stops. Dings" (organized by Christian Tony Norum) at The Munch Museum, Oslo; "Conflicting evidence" at 1857, Oslo. This is the artist's second solo exhibition at STANDARD (OSLO).
