ASAL PEIROVI

Asal Peirovi (b. 1985,  Sari, Mazandaran Province, Iran) lives and works in Tehran, Iran. In 2009, she received her BA in Painting from Shahed University and in 2014, she received her MA in Painting from the University of Art in Tehran. This is the artist's third solo exhibition at STANDARD (OSLO), following "Slippery road's landscape" (2021) and "Curtains II" (2019). Other solo exhibitions include Chapter NY, New York; Dastan Gallery, Tehran; and Shirin Art Gallery, Tehran. Selected group presentations include Guest House, Los Angeles, USA; Yavuz Gallery, Sydney; Assar Art Gallery, Tehran; The Edinburgh Festival, Edinburgh, and the National Museum, Oslo, Norway. Peirovi's work is held in the collections of the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, Oslo, Norway; The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design, Oslo, Norway Fairfeld; University Art Museum, Fairfeld, Connecticut, USA.
