Biography
Munan Øvrelid (b. 1978, Oslo, Norway) holds an MFA from the Trondheim Academy of Fine Art. After ten years in Berlin, where he worked across a wide range of media, he returned to Norway and immersed himself in painting.
His work has been exhibited at the National Museum, Kunstnerforbundet, Kunstnernes Hus - all of them Oslo - Kunstraum Bethanien, Berlin; and Galeria Luisa Strina, São Paulo. His paintings are held in major collections such as the National Museum, the Kistefos Museum, and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
