MUNAN ØVRELID

Munan Øvrelid (b. 1978, Oslo, Norway) holds an MFA from the Trondheim Academy of Fine Art. After ten years in Berlin,where he worked primarily with conceptual art, he returned to Norway and immersed himself in painting.

His work has been exhibited at the National Museum, Kunstnerforbundet, Kunstnernes Hus, Kunstraum Bethanien, and Galeria Luisa Strina in São Paulo. His paintings are held in major collections such as the National Museum, Kistefos Museum, and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
