STANDARD (OSLO) is currently closed due to renovation, and will reopen in its new gallery space in February 2026. The gallery will make use of the entire ground floor of Eilert Sundts gate 40 in the Uranienborg district of Oslo - a concrete building that was designed by the Norwegian architect Bjarne Tjønn (1925-1996), which was completed in 1961 and which for 35 years housed the most prominent Norwegian frame maker, Galleriets Rammeverksted. The opening of its inaugural exhibition, a group exhibition with the title “It was only that and light was all it needed and a certain cleanness and order.” - will take place on Thursday the 12th of February 2026.
