15 years is an odd number; it lacks the simplicity of 10, the maturity that comes with 25 and the solidity that comes with 100. Still, any year past the initial 4 - those are supposedly the hardest ones for a business to survive - should be celebrated. STANDARD (OSLO) has grown a little bit older and a little bit wiser since initially being offered the advice: "Never show a painting that will not fit a Park Avenue elevator". It serves as a reminder that while art strives for perfection, art dealing every so often has to settle for imperfection.
